The 2- mandrel uncoiler ( it also called hydraulic uncoiler,twin mandrel uncoiler and double mandrel uncoiler) loads the next hot rolled coil/cold rolled coil / galvanized steel coil onto the unoccupied mandrel while the other coil is feeding the mill. The mandrel decoiler ‘planetary’ rotation type allows the operator to prepare the new coil offline.
The rotation of uncoiler is driven by a hydraulic motor.
The mandrels are hydraulic cylinder actuated for expansion /collapse by pushing button operation
The mandrel segments are provided with standard pads,which can load the ID coil with 508mm/610mm
The hold down roller coated with PU and side contain roller are provided. It facilitates opening the head of the steel coil saftely and smoothly.
The uncoiler of each mandrel can load Maximum 5 Ton steel coil with strip width from 25mm to 398mm
Moreover ,The pneumatic brake system is provided,which can brake the uncoiler when the steel coil is going to run out or emergency.
The ‘planetary’ rotation of uncoiler is driven by a hydraulic gear motor.
