The double cone uncoiler ( it is called double mandrel uncoiler,double mandrel expending uncoiler),which typically fitted with ERW welded tube mill that manufacture 165mm---273mm diameter tube .the uncoiler can bear Max.20tons steel coil
Function : To uncoil the strip and maintain the required tension during feeding the strip into tube mill production line.
● 2 mandrels are provided, whose expansion/collapse is actuated by hydraulic cylinder
● The mandrel segements are provided with metal pad.
● Left and right uncoiler housings shift for coil centering via individual hydraulic cylinder actuation with linear absolute encoder electronic position feedback.
● The uncoiler is fitted with coil loading car.the coil is delivered to the uncoiler and centered by the coil loading car automatically and thread-up sequence initiation.
● The rotating of mandrel is driven by geared motor for coil jogging
● Automatic threading and constant tension control during tube mill run.
● The uncoiler is fitted with the pneumatic brake
